Klaus Klein, Dr.rer.nat. is Professor of Biology and of Health Education and Director of the Health Education Research Unit at the University of Cologne in Cologne, Germany. He was the first faculty member at any European university to hold the title of professor of health education.
A renowned researcher in the field of school health education, Dr. Klein has authored thirty books and more than 300 publications in scholarly journals. As an esteemed researcher on both national and international stages, he has helped attract more than $10 million dollars in outside research funding to the University of Cologne. He is chairman of the Society for Health Environment and Communication.
